The banana smoothie is one of the easiest for me to do because I always have bananas in the house. For this one I used frozen bananas. It turned out so thick my straw stood up straight. See the recipe below for this delicious and healthy gap filler.
Ingredients:
- 1 Frozen banana cut up. Did you know you can throw over ripe bananas straight into the freezer as is with their skin on. They keep beautifully.
- 1 small 100ml tub of fruit flavoured yoghurt. Mine was kiwi flavoured and slightly expired. Please don’t judge me.
- half a teaspoon of cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
- half a cup of milk
Blits all this up with a stick blender and voila!
