Shisha, hooka, hubbly bubbly, whatever your term of endearment, have become a favourite pastime among young adults not only in the Muslim community. While it’s deemed acceptable in the Muslim community, more so than cigarettes for instance, it has a certain risqué quality that draws young people to it. More and more places are offering it as part of their menu. It’s a great way to chill and relax with friends if you’re into the hooka vibe. The following is a list of Shisha lounges that also offer halaal food. No alcohol served.

interested in hosting a 16 birthday party
no thank you ever again to As-Salaam.. we went there with family friends in a huge group.. most expensive bill ever (average item on menu is R300+), don’t think anybody was happy with their meals either!
host was friendly enough though, but stuck us with a 10% tip on the bill that was marked as vat.
I queried it and he said it was indeed vat.
Vat is actually 14%.. not 10% of our final bill
