Coffee and Chocolate Show Look Post

Nothing tells a story quite like a picture so today’s article takes the form of a look post. This weekend saw the Cape Town Coffee and Chocolate expo happening at Green Point Cricket Club. There was much to see and savour and coffee addicts and chocoholics were in fantasy land. There was not a Lindt or Cadbury in sight though. This expo showcased more of the craft and artison chocolate makers and coffee roasters. It was a tad bit smaller than I was expecting, but I did get my fill of both my vices. And my shopping can attest to it.

These amazing ice cream macaron sandwiches from Sugarlicious were a total hit. I had the Bombay Crush flavour which was deliciously authentic. Pictured at the bottom left is Zakkiya, the owner of Sugarlicious and Jason Sandell from Las Paletas talking trade secrets.

  • Nice one Dilshaad.. would you go again next year?
Feel free not to respond if this may incriminate you in any way 😛 😉

    • Hi Rohan. I would absolutely go again. This is a fairly new expo and I expect it will get better every year. Also, alot of the value of these events is in attending the workshops.
