Thanks for this list. Whenever I visit Cape Town, I find it hard to decide where to eat during my short time there. Now I know where I’ll be eating the next time I visit.
What about Myatt Café @ V n A Waterfront? Surprised they didn’t make the list….always my go-to place when I’m in the Cape….
So we decided to try out Jiah…..we were 4 patrins seated at a very small table…service was terrible. Waiter took our order and then forgot about us. We complained, management came over said a few words but no explanation for why the long wait for the food. Waited an hour and then decided to leave cos still no food rocked up…
very dissapointed considering we were looking forward to it……
Dont see how distric cafe geta 3rd place. After my experiance there. Nobody to seat you. Then you beg someone to notice you have seated your self. After they take your order they take a 45mins to bring a simple breakfast. By the way i lost my apitite by that time. They serve your coffea wiel preparing your food. This makes no sence. Yoi have hardly finished eating and they clear the table. I will not be going there again. And no applogy from management for delay of the food yet people that came after me got there food the same time as i was served.
Nice one Dilshaad.. forgot you had this competition running.. was going to suggest a competition for your readers to leave reviews of the places you’ve already seen.. this site is already a go-to for many to see what you think of places.. would be even better if we got to see what everybody else feels about it (sort of like how we look at Amazon reviews before buying a product elsewhere)
Hi Rohan. Thanks for the feedback. Actually, there are user reviews on many of the listings I have reviewed myself. Please do add your own reviews as well of places you have tried.
