Today my girlfriends and I celebrated a friends birthday with a girly Sunday morning brunch at Myatt Cafe at the V&A Waterfront. Amidst giggles and laughs, banter and catching up on each others lives one common thread came up for most all of us. Why don’t our husbands ever know where to take us to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or any special occasion. Sure, the ribs at Spur is great but really guys, when you treat your lady you want to take her to a place where she feels like a lady. Where she can dress up a little and drink tea with her pinky in the air. Now granted, there are precious few halaal places in the Cape where you can do that so I’ve put together the Gentleman’s Guide to taking out your lady.
Ladies, send this link to your man so he knows what you like. They always say they wish they knew what goes on in our heads. So let’s make it a little bit easier on them. Gents, save this link in your favourites. It’s going to be your get out jail card more often than you think. I promise I will keep it updated.
It’s a pleasure gents. I’ll take thank you’s in cheques…. ????
