August 9 is the day we commemorate the anniversary of the great women’s march of 1956, where women marched to the Union Buildings to protest against the carrying of pass books. It was the start of an organised woman’s league that has historically forged strides in the advancement of women’s rights in South Africa.

While we remember this time with pride we can also celebrate the achievements and contributions we have made to this country. And what better way than with some me time or time with your best girls.
