Roundup of Halaal Food Trucks in Cape Town

Good food is not only the precinct of fancy sit down restaurants with gleaming tablecloths and lit candles. Street food, which is a true reflection of the food culture of a city has long been a standard all over the globe but it’s the food trucks that are now taking over the scene.

These mobile meals on wheels serving straight out of a window make it easy to get exciting new flavours all over. Being mobile it’s easy to pack it all in and set up pretty much anywhere. They have become a firm favourite at concerts, festivals, markets and even weddings.

Cape Town has a decent share of halaal food trucks while Johannesburg and Durban are still lagging a bit behind. Because they move around you’ll need to follow them on social media to know where they’ll pop up.
