Turmeric Latte recipe with nuts and coconut milk

I’ve taken to using turmeric and black pepper in an effort to try and lower my cholesterol the natural way. One way I enjoy it is as a latte, also known as Golden Milk or traditionally as Haldi Doodh. I’ve dressed up this latest version with a little bit of extra bits and pieces. Hope you like it.


½ tsp ground turmeric
1/8 tsp black pepper
½ tsp flaked almonds and pistachios
1 cup of milk
2 tsp honey or to taste
½ tsp coconut milk powder

Bring to a boil and then lower heat and simmer for about 7 minutes. Pour into glass and sprinkle with some extra almond and pistachio flakes.
Enjoy hot.
