Insta is abuzz with Dalgona coffee. Something I’d been making since ages ago but never knew it had a name. This moussy mix of instant coffee and sugar was always at the bottom of my cup with the milk poured over. But this version with it on top is so much more Instagrammeable. Here’s the super-easy method for getting it just right.
Dalgona Coffee
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp instant coffee
2 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp water
Method:
Put all ingredients into a small bowl. Whisk it all up with a balloon whisk till it becomes light and fluffy and has the texture of meringue. You can use a spoon or fork to do the beating but it will take longer. Pile it on top of a cup of hot or cold milk for your Instagram capture. You actually only need a teaspoon or two of the mixture in your milk as it’s really strong.
