My cousin Manzoor guards his recipe for bbq ribs like a hawk. I’ve been trying to wriggle it out of him for years but he’s evaded me successfully so far. He’s a chef with a day job. And when he’s not at the office he’s often 2IC for his dad Yusuf who runs Osman’s Foods where you can get the best Akhni on a Sunday in the Northern Suburbs.

Manzoor’s ribs have become so popular that he’s decided to bottle some of the magic and has introduced Mincie’s Basting Sauce. Not only good for ribs, it’s great for meat and chicken too.
I decided to use it for some chicken wings and suffice it to say it was pretty d@$n amazing. Get yourself a jar of Mincie’s and give this recipe a go. This is a great movie night dinner with some kettle fries on the side.
