Best Halaal Pizza Spots in Cape Town

Thin base, thick base, loaded toppings or spare. The debate rages on. If you’re passionate about your pizza then you’ll want to know where to get the best halaal pizza in Cape Town. These are mainly independent pizza establishments and does not include your mainstream pizza franchises.
In no specific order:

Ciao Pizza, CBD

Expect authentic Neapolitan style pizzas with the signature sag in the middle and the crispiest puff on the outside. Find them on Long Street in the CBD and look out for the 2nd branch opening in Bloubergstrand.

La Infernos, Rondebosch & Plattekloof

There’s a new Wood fire pizza place on the block. La inferno launched their second store, now in the south this weekend. Upstairs at the Woolies in Kromboom road you’ll find a touch of pizza heaven. They have sit-down, take away and delivery options.

Bin Rashid, multiple locations

What started out as a single pizza stop in Wynberg has blossomed into 7 branches all over the Cape. They are a favourite with the locals and now also serve chicken wings as part of the menu. Look out for the Chilli Buster.

Col’cacchio, Canal Walk

Everyone’s favourite thin base pizza has finally opened halaal stores in the last few years. They are conveniently located in Canal Walk Shopping Centre in Cape Town. We love the Norm’s Pralina and the Moghul pizza. They have a great selection for vegetarians.

Smokey & Co, Sybrand Park

Well known for amazing ribs, Smokey & Co also does gorgeous wood fired pizzas. Topped with their tender perfectly smoked meats it’s next level flavour.

Pizza Familia, Gordon’s Bay

Serving wood fired pizza and grills in this beach town. They started with a mobile unit and now have a permanent spot at Bay Centre. They are currently closed for maintenance but will be relaunching soon. More about them here.
