Bootlegger Coffee Company has long since been the go to place for those who won’t settle for mediocre coffee. Now you are also able to enjoy their fully halaal coffee shop menu including all day breakfast as they are rolling out several new halaal sit down and express stores.

Now Now By Woolworths, Eastgate

A Fresh and Fast convenience food concept from Woolworths. Serves wraps, toasties, burgers, bowls and salads. They also have a good range of smoothies and coffee. The menu is true to the Woolworths ethos of fresh and healthy and they have some hearty options on the menu but the store is designed for quick stops to fuel up rather than lengthy lunch dates. YML Eatery, Ormonde

A casual but elegant eatery serving a range of dishes from breakfast, grills and burgers to toasties, curries and desserts. Suitable for whole family they also have a kids menu.

Mugg and Bean is probably the OG of the all day breakfast. From generous Eggs Benedict options to healthier low-carb breakfasts and even vegan and vegetarian options you’ll find loads of variety on their menu. Pretty in pink, Élan has several posh locations all over the world. Having opened their first store in London, they now have 11 stores in cities like, Milan, Paris, Dubai, Riyadh and now Johannesburg. It’s quite easily the most instagrammeable breakfast spot in Jozi. A luxury dessert kiosk in Mall of Africa. Think Ferrero Croissant, Baklava Tea Cake, Cheesecake Truffles, Salted Caramel Pretzel Shortbread and Brownie Slabs. They also have a few savoury options which includes stuffed parathas, homemade pies and sliders.
