There has been some confusion about the halaal status of the Coffee Lounge in recent weeks so here’s the low down to bring some clarity.
After many years serving as Cape Town’s go-to coffee lounge for small events and celebrations, the Coffee Lounge has been sold. The new name is Century Lounge and they are no longer trading as halaal. They are offering Mediterranean cuisine and they also sell alcohol.
The old owners of the Coffee Lounge are now offering a catering service. So you can still get your treats from them. They are selling confectionery online and will be doing private catering.
