Tangy Asian Slaw

This Asian slaw is so simple and versatile yet packs a punch in flavour. It’s fresh, crunchy, earthy and tangy, all the good stuff. I use it on burgers, hot dogs, and on the side of any protein. They are great in Tacos like these mini Burger Tacos (remember that trend) in the pictures below. This recipe will make about 2 cups.

Asian Slaw

Ingredients
1/8 head of a large cabbag
1 carrot
1/3 English cucumber half peeled
1/2 small red onion
1 tsp sugar
2 Tbsp white vinegar
Salt & cracked black pepper
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Method
Finely slice and julienne all the veg. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and toss together. The flavours improve the longer it stands
