This newly opened Butchery | Deli | Eatery is unique as it is the 1st fully halaal farm to table store in South Africa, with a focus on nutritional eating and gut health.
The L.A. Farms point of difference is that their produce comes straight from their farm. It’s all grass-fed and free-range certified and they can trace back all of the produce to the source as they have actual records of produce and can prove where it comes from. Their simple philosophy is farming in the most natural, sustainable way without chemicals and antibiotics and with the knowing of traceability and the ethical treatment of the animals.
In the fully operational butchery customers can watch the blockmen cut and mince product fresh off the carcass. They supply high quality Wagyu as well as Angus Beef and West Coast Lamb. They also produce patties and sausages which are 100% meat with no additives. The sausage casings are all natural. Even the red colourant used in their viennas is natural and extracted from organic beetroot.
The eatery is an extension of the butchery and deli where customers can enjoy seasonal fresh meals such as chickpea salad, pulled smoked lamb sandwiches, their signature Wagyu and Grass-fed Angus steaks and their very popular Wagyu and Angus burgers. There is also a breakfast menu consisting of Wagyu Macon and free range eggs served with kimchi and seasonal vegetables.
It’s an experience where you can shop your weekly organic vegetables and produce, enjoy an ethically sourced organic coffee and have a memorable meal.
