If you’ve ever had to entertain kids of any age then mostly likely you would have been to RUSH Extreme at some point. This sprawling trampoline park has become a firm favourite for Cape Town’s kids and many adults too.

The massive indoor trampoline park has 1500-2500 square meters of adventure, challenges and fun. There are wall to wall interconnected trampolines, dodge-ball courts where they have extreme dodgeball sessions, a cube foam pit, slam dunk basketball hoops, battle beam and a 4 meter high climbing wall.

If you’re not a jumper you can have a seat at their Café where you can enjoy coffee, slushies and snacks along with some free WIFI. The café has just become halaal certified so you can now order the hot food as well which includes sandwiches and hot dogs. The menu is not big and the hot dogs are simple which is just how the kids like it. But the coffee is really good and you could happily park there with your laptop, assuming you could zone out the loud music designed to create a perfect vibe. Take your earphones along and you should be good.

There are lots of staff in the various areas keeping an eye on the kids. Though smaller kids aged 4 and under must be accompanied by an adult. They are good about safety. My son was hit in the face during a dodgeball session and they came to me to acknowledge the incident. I had to sign a form and they said to expect a follow up call from their team the next day to check up on whether he was ok.

Sessions are R160 for 1 hour or R260 for 2 hours. Jumping socks are mandatory and if you don’t have a pair it costs R40. Sessions are on the hour, so come about 30 minutes earlier to change socks and store your belongings so you don’t miss a minute of valuable jumping time.

Want to host a hassle free party? Book one of their 4 party rooms which includes jump time, snacks, gifts and more.

Parking is convenient in the Stadium on Main building but you have to go several floors up. Remember to take your parking ticket with you to be validated after you’re done at Rush.
