We found a little bit of the Cape Town vibe in Durban at Strangers Coffee. This little venue is an intimate little gem with an eclectic feel.

They serve Humble coffee brand and have a curated menu of light meals. We tried the Bombay potato toastie which has spiced mashed potatoes with coriander, a tamarind sauce and cheese rounded off with a light sprinkle of micro greens. It was delicious. The cappucinno was excellent and the the coffee shake was equally good.

We loved the cosy corner with a bookshelf where you can find a read to enjoy with your choice of coffee beverage. It’s a perfect spot to bring your laptop for an out of office workspace.

Look out for their rich chocolate Matilda cake which is a huge hit with those in the know.
